Emergency Services DJs Electrique, Figure Of Wax + Ginger Brown, Elements' J Devious, Live + Direct From Wolverhampton come DJ Vital + Peter & The Wolf plus some more guests thrown in there too if you're lucky! The place is Mood Basement, Buxton, Derbyshire this Saturday 29th October. The night is Hip-Hop Halloween so it's fancy dress! Bumped into my old neighbour Tim today, to cut a long story short he asked what I was up to - I replied working a shitty job but making beats as a hobby which I want to start taking seriously. So he told me to swing by his place (his studio to be precise)... cos you see the bit I didnt mention is that Tim is Olive who made that tune "You're Not Alone" time ago which High Contrast recentley remixed! Oh and he was the keyboardist for Simply Red for 5 albums. Boosh!

the night was a success, it's been busier but there were enough people for a really sweet atmosphere as 5 DJs [including peter and adam from wolverhampton] ripped it up alongside 2 drummers / percussionists [nate and tommy] and greg the sax player... hopefully there's some photos floating around so i'll work on getting those up. think it's led to an album project and definately a lot more nights to come alongside our wolverhampton comrades!
